Welcome to Outback Community Mission (OCM), a dream that started as a spark in our hearts and has grown into a mission to bring hope, compassion, and practical support to the remote communities of the Australian Outback.

At OCM, we believe that no place is too far for God’s love to reach, and no community is too small to matter. While we are still in the start-up phase, this vision is already deeply rooted in our faith, passion, and commitment to serving others.

Our Mission

OCM is dedicated to:

• Building Foundations – Preparing the resources, partnerships, and tools we will need to serve effectively.

• Preparing Hearts – Trusting in God’s timing as we prayerfully lay the groundwork for this ministry.

• Inviting Partners – Collaborating with individuals, churches, and organizations who share our vision to make a real difference.

Why the Outback?

The Australian Outback is a place of rugged beauty, resilience, and untold stories. But it is also a region that faces unique challenges—social isolation, limited access to resources, and a growing need for hope and connection. OCM seeks to address these needs by providing spiritual and practical support to these remote communities.

As it says in Habakkuk 2:3: 'For the vision is yet for an appointed time; though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.' We are holding on to this promise as we take each step of faith forward.
